I've noticed a pattern
back when I would still get a period, there was definitely a pattern in my energy levels. I would be bouncing around with energy some weeks and then other weeks I could hardly get out of bed. I knew it was fluctuations in my hormones but I could kind of predict when they were coming because I knew my cycle. I know that after menopause the hormones continue to cycle, though not as strongly as before, and they fluctuate. So there are still periods of high energy and low energy but now I don't really know when they are coming. This week was a very, very low energy week. Tuesday night the pool guy came to look at the pool pump and while he wasn't here late, we did stand outside all night helping him with the pump. I woke up Wednesday morning feeling wiped out. Almost hung over, but not quite. It was brutal. Yesterday I was also very low energy. I just could not muster up energy for anything. Thankfully today is Friday and I don't have to muster up energy for anything. I went to bed at 7:30 last night and did not get up until 5am. That is almost 9 hours of sleep. Also, we have a 5 day weekend. So I get a little mini vaca to recoup. I tell you, I love my job.
In other news. I need to get focused and get a plan for my business. I let my 30 days of Instagram drop because I didn't post anything the last 2 days. I'm going to post something as soon as I'm done here. But damn, I let it drop and I'm pissed at myself. But I have a few different things going in my head and I need to focus on what exactly I want to do. I'm literally all over the place and I need to have a plan. So, let me talk it out here and see what I can come up with.
While I haven't completely found my niche, I'm really leaning towards pets. Dogs and cats primarily. I have a lot of things I can make for pets, in a few different mediums to make it interesting. Some of those things are:
- Leash holders
- Key holders in dog and cat theme
- Cups in dog and cat
- Resin paws
- Resin memorials
- Suncatchers - though I still need to work on these
- Collars and leashes - for both
- Inventory everything I have on hand already.
- Decide what cat/dog things I want to make and get them rolling
- Make some examples for memorials.
- Practice my collar and leash making skills and get some examples made.
