It's been a week
We left for Dewey on Tuesday. It's only about 90 minutes away so it was an easy drive. The road to the house though was dirt and I was not expecting that. But we got there and it was a cute little cabin with a nice fenced in yard for Mavy.
It had a bbq so we ended up cooking steaks one night and chicken the next. It was nice. They had some really nice touches throughout the place.
A tiny, tiny bottle of champagne with two tiny glasses and some noise makers. Very cute since we got there New Year's Eve.
There were tiny bottles of water by the bed and chocolates. They left a note that said don't worry about doing the dishes, they would get them. That's unusual. Most places want you to leave things really clean.
The view was great too.
And the stars!!! OMG!!! So, so, so many stars. We bought my telescope but it doesn't work very well or I don't know how to use it very well, one of those.
Anyway, it was a nice stay except for the heat. We apparently did not know how to operate the heater because every night it got really, really cold. The first night the temp in the cabin dropped down to the 50's. I was freezing when I got up. The second night it only dropped to 65F, still plenty cold. Anyway, it was fun. Nice to get away and relax. I did not take any work so I did not do any work. That was nice. A mental break was definitely much needed. We got home yesterday around 10am. I really didn't do much yesterday either, so I had an extra rest day.
But today, it is back to it. I kept waking up last night and thinking of things I need to do or want to do, for my business. I am trying to figure out how to fit all the things in I want to do and how it will all work. I guess I could sit and plan and plan and plan, or I could just jump in and do. It will work itself out, I just need to get in there and get my hands dirty.
So that means, I'm off to start working on things.
