Angie


Back in May we had benchmark week. That is a week where we do the benchmark workouts. One night I had to go to Crossfit Oahu because I had a night thing at school. That was the night we were doing Angie. Angie is a brutal WOD of 100 pullups, 100 pushups, 100 situps, and 100 squats. And they have to be finished in order. It's tough. When I walked into the box today I saw Angie on the board. Yes!!!! I get to do Angie. In May there was a 30 minute time cap. There was no time cap today but even if there was, I would continue anyway. So we were off. 100 pullups is a lot of pullups, and honestly, I can't do pullups. I did jumping pullups and ring rows. I alternated back and forth 10 of each. Then it was 100 pushups. Another move I suck at. I used the bands for the first 50 but then had to move up to the bench for the last 50. Situps I got. I did them in sets of 20. As I told the coach, in spite of my jiggly belly, my abs are strong. Then it was on to the squats. I did those in sets of 25 and watched the Crossfit games while I did them:

Those I blazed through. And literally before I knew it, I was done. I am stoked, I finally got to do Angie. Woo Hoo!!! And I can move through 400 bodyweight movements in under 25 minutes. How awesome is that????
