It's been a good week

I am so totally not used to taking pictures of my food that I lost the whole foodie blogger thing.  I really want to do it so I'm going to work on it more.  Food has been good.  I generally have a protein smoothie in the morning.  A snack around 10ish - usually fruit.  Lunch around noon and it's been a sandwich and a soup this week.  There's a snack about 3:30 or 4 which is usually a granola bar or some more fruit.   Dinner is usually around 6:30 - 7 and since Hubby cooks it's a total crapshoot.  I've been working out every morning and it feels good. I just keep reminding myself that I'm doing the hard thing not the easy thing.  It actually feels really, really good to do something that is not the easy road. I love it.  Right now though I have earned some rest......

The day always begins with coffee in the Tigger mug: After walking Axl for almost 2 hours I was hungry. I broke out the standard banana and peanut butter: Then it was off to walk Lola. After getting back from that and showering I was starving, so it was off to California Pizza Kitchen. They just opened a new one near us and we had a gift card. Lunch began with a margarita: Hubby and I shared a salad and a pizza. We had the Original Chopped Salad (I love chopped salad)half order: And The Works pizza: It was very good and perfect for the two of us. That was it for the day until dinner. Hubby cooked a pork roast with macaroni salad, corn, rice and gravy: Looking at that plate I had a ton of food, but I was hungry. Overall a good day. Tomorrow starts my new life.

Buying this house has been a trial you would not believe.  It has been an emotional roller coaster with lots of ups and downs.  There were a number of times where I said I was done and wanted to just end it.  Luckily I had a fabulous loan officer who absolutely would not let me give up.  I am a firm believer that things happen for a reason and I think I may have figured out the reason for this. I've had things come to me pretty easily most of my life.  I really have.  I wanted something and generally would get it.  I decide it's time to lose weight and I did.  75 lbs.  I decide to run a marathon and I do.  Twice.  I decide to do triathlons and I do.  I decide I want a new bike and I go get one.  I decide I want a new car and I go get one.  Really.  It's been like that most of my l
