I'm not happy with the way I feel
and it's not for the reasons you may think. I'm exhausted and I can tell my blood sugar is unbalanced. It's not real bad, I'm not having a sugar crash or anything, but I know it's not normal. So I have absolutely no choice, I have to workout every day and I have to go back to eating whole foods. The workouts will help me get my energy back and eating whole foods will stabilize my blood sugar and help with my energy levels. So it begins tonight. Snack was grapes and string cheese, dinner will be salmon and Greek salad. I'm looking forward to feeling better.

Halfway through my course (end of June) we stopped workouts before class and I stopped working out. I was physically and mentally exhausted and really needed the break.
Thing is ... I realized a few weeks ago that I have had to increase my insulin doses drastically to compensate for this. I was waking up almost every day with blood sugar around 17.9mmol (it's supposed to be between 4.0 and 6.0). I'm sure you know as well as I do how difficult it is to roll out of bed when your glucose is so high ...
I started working out on Sunday of this week and I feel like me again!
Good luck with the workouts. If you need encouragement, I'm here for ya! It's a rough go to start, but once you're going it feels so good.
