A couple of things.
I just read a post that freaked me out. I've just started reading her blog through PayPerPost.com and had no idea what was going on. Okay, let's be honest, I had no idea this was going on at all. I knew of people being harassed through their blogs and getting nasty comments and stuff, but this??? I had no clue. It really kind of freaked me out. I do think Kat is right though, do not back down. Do not let him intimidate you. Bullying and harassment are usually done by weak, ineffectual people who feel they have no control in their own life and so try to make others feel bad. Generally, I you defend yourself they will back down. But it is freaky to think about.
Okay, on to more important things. I'm really getting the itch to enter a race. I've started thinking about it over the weekend and the idea is growing and growing and growing...... The racing itch is on me. The Tinman triathlon is July 29th. That's exactly 12 weeks away. I could be ready in time, no problem. I could add this training into my fat loss program without too much problem. I'm already running (well not the last week because of my plantar), I'm biking once a week and can easily increase that. Swimming?!?!?! Hmmmmm....... I know I could swim once a week but I don't think I could get more in right now. That might be okay. I did my first tri swimming only twice a week in the ocean. Swimming in the ocean seems to work better for me than pool swimming. So if I did 1000 m ocean swim once a week for 12 weeks that might be enough. I'm not out to break any records, I just want to do it for fun. I think I might do it. Let me sit on it for a couple more days and see what happens.
