The best laid plans....
I woke up this morning feeling simply exhausted. Actually, I felt exhausted last night and decided it's PMS. So this morning I dragged my ass out of bed and off to weigh-in. On the way I decide to stop at the store on the way back and pick up ice cream and maybe some cookies for later tonight. When I get to WW one of the ladies tells me how thin my face looks. Then the leader tells me I'm really looking skinny today. During the meeting I'm told how buff I'm starting to look and another member tells me you can totally tell that I work out. Well if that just doesn't kill a good pig-out. Actually, I'm very glad to hear this. I look at myself and think I'm looking really good but nobody says anything so I begin to think maybe I'm living in some kind of fantasy land. So I went to the store and got bread and coffee creamer and that's all. A small victory but I'll take them any way they come.
Overall it's been a good week. I didn't get all the exercise in I wanted too because of being so tired but that's okay. This feeling only lasts for a day or two and then I'm back to normal.
I would really like to write more. Writing really helps keep me focused during the week and I need to track my progress and successes more consistently. Before the new year I bought a couple of different log books and I haven't really been keeping any of them up. Okay, this week I will work hard on that!!!!
I'm also going back to basics this week. All Core all the way. I was toying with the idea of Flex for a week just to see how it goes and decided against that. I have finally found a breakfast that satisfies me and keeps me full till lunch; oatmeal with skim milk. When I have that I'm really full and don't get hungry to near noon.
Well, it's almost time to walk the dogs.....
